Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a store credit or exchange.
Because we are a 501(c)3 organization and thus donate all proceeds to our partner charities, Wayside Waifs and KidsTLC, we do not accept returns. In some extenuating circumstances, we may issue store credit or an exchange; these circumstances will be evaluated on an individual basis.

If deemed eligible: to complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Receipt of store credit/exchanges
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store credit/exchange. We reserve the right to reject online returns based on the condition of the item(s) in question.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account in the form of a gift card, within a certain amount of days. If you are returning an item on the basis of exchanging for another size, please allow 3-5 business days to fully process and ship your exchange.
Late or missing store credit
If you haven’t received your store credit yet, first check your online account.
Alternatively, if your store credit was mailed, we will send a tracking number for you to follow its progress. Should your gift card be lost in the mail, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Unfortunately, sale items are final sale and are not eligible for consideration of exchange or granting store credit.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: 1320 W. 39th Street, Kansas City, MO, 64111, United States.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will still grant you a gift certificate for the purchased value of the item(s).

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
