How do fashion trends today differ from those of your parents?
Vastly… My parents are both athletic, so they typically are dressed in athleisure. However, when they dress up they dress UP.
How can you personally have an impact on creating a culture of sustainability?
I am a proud vegan of 6 years. While there are so many factors contributing to waste. Climate change, etc. I firmly believe animal agriculture is one of (if not THE) most detrimental. It’s a lifestyle that I wouldn’t trade for anything. When it comes to consumerism, I have always been a thrifty gal. Most of the time by circumstance. Second hand is where it’s at!
If you could spend a month in a previous decade, what would it be and why?
I am so intrigued by the 90s. Having been born in ‘92, my memories are fuzzy of that era, but it’s one I've always been fascinated by. 90s music, movies, fashion. It’s all peak.
What makes Do Good Co. unique?
It’s a space that welcomes all and promotes individuality. DG leans into the eccentric and I find it pure art.
What is your favorite thing about working at Do Good Co?
I love being a part of a team of women who are all so uniquely themselves, compassionate, and badass.
If you could change places with someone (other than family), who would it be and why?
Beyonce… If even for just an hour. I’ve GOT to know how it feels to be able to sing like that.
What advice would you give to a younger self?
You’re not “lost” in fantasy land. You’re a dreamer. Follow them, no matter what anyone else tells you <3
How can sustainability make a difference for climate change?
It can make ALL the difference. It must. I’m encouraged by the generations younger than mine who understand the effects of climate change and are taking action and helping to make a real impact for the better.
How can you personally further the mission of Do Good Co.?
Leaning into my empathetic nature instead of fighting it. Our community needs more people who lead with compassion instead of ignorance.
What is the number one item on your bucket list?
Land a leading or supporting role in a feature film!
